At the risk of sounding like I’m introducing myself on a dating show…my name’s Lewis, I’m 33 and I’m from Amersham…[applause and potentially wolf-whistles].
What’s my blog all about? Well the last thing I want Oxford Fitness to be is another health regular blog. There’s loads of those around, some good, some bad, and some ugly. My aim is to put out relatable, engaging, and enjoyable content. I’m not going to churn out post after post, or write about what everyone else is writing about, unless I’m passionate about it.
I write the blog in my spare time alongside a full-time international sales job which requires a lot of travel. My work means I always have to plan ahead, whether that be in terms of food or training, and usually I managed to stick to a healthy schedule. Think jars of peanut butter stored in a desk, and you get the idea.
Life is all about balance, so if I miss a training session, or I decide to go for drinks after work, then it’s fine. I’m not going to worry about it and I’m not going to force myself to “work it off” – I’ve lived like that before and it’s not big or clever.
Hopefully you’ll find the blog useful as well as entertaining. I’m always here for any fitness and nutrition related questions or general chat – just head to my contact page to find out how you can get in touch.
Disclaimer: From time to time, I am approached by companies who would like to send me products for free in exchange for a review. I only accept offers for products which are aligned with my values and that it’s potentially something I would spend my hard-earned cash on. My reviews are always fair, and if I’m not a fan of something, I’ll let you know.
