I like coffee. I like walnuts. I like protein. So I’ll be honest, I didn’t need to put a great deal of thought into this recipe.
These little badboys are packed full of protein thanks to the Protein Pow Whey Cooking Mix and peanut butter, and only contain sugars from the date syrup. You can even make your own date syrup if you fancy by pitting some Medjool dates and adding them to a small amount of boiling water in the pan…or you can be lazy / efficient and buy some.
It’s a ridiculously easy recipe so you’ve got no excuse for not trying it out!
1 Cup Protein Pow Whey Cooking Mix
1/4 Cup Nescafe Azera
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup Date Syrup
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Add all ingredients into a food processor and blend until you get a workable dough mixture.
You may need to add a tablespoon of water to help bind the mixture.
Mould / cut into squares and pop in the fridge for an hour.
